We are an Operation Encompass School.
What does this mean?
If a child from our school witnesses a Domestic Abuse incident and the Police are called out they will inform school using a secure email before 9am the following morning.
The Safeguarding Officers at school (Mrs Walker and Miss Burns) will inform only the relevant staff who can support the children when they arrive, during the school day and for as long as is needed.
We will liaise with the authorities to make sure that children are best supported in difficult times.
