Curriculum

Welcome to our curriculum page!

At Westwood Park we have carefully designed our Curriculum and we are very proud of it!

We draw on great resources from schemes such as White Rose (Maths), Read, Write Inc (Phonics), Ready, Steady Write (English) and Kapow (Foundation subjects).

We have adapted the schemes of work in order to ensure they are bespoke and that they match the needs of our children.

We have incorporated lots of retrieval practice, lots of repetition, lots of challenges and lots of vocabulary. We think this helps our children to know more and remember more.
