“Be the best you can be”

My name is Miss Roberts and I am the class teacher. There are 29 ‘lovely jubbly’ children in Sycamore who are bright, bubbly and always well behaved. We love reading and writing and number work. Every day we do handwriting and learn our sounds in Read Write Inc. We always try our best every day and if we do some really good work or we are especially polite and well-mannered our teacher, Miss Roberts, lets us move up the rainbow. When we get to the sunshine five times we get a prize. We love singing in Sycamore and we have learnt lots of African songs as well as other fun songs. Our favourite song at the moment is called ‘Grandma, Grandma, sick in bed’ which we sang in assembly.
